Panos Panaxas

Journal Entry: Mon Feb 18, 2008, 5:55 PM

This man fired a rifle into a crowd at a private dump site, I posted a drawing of him so you know to run if you see him.

You see, my philosophy when I "develop" a concept, I just try to gaze into that dark abyss of possible realities and record what I see (like a ghetto Nostradamus).

I saw this guy in my minds eye and I tried to recall everything about him and what was going on at the time. My first glimpse of him was as follows:

I was in an open field full of trash rummaging through garbage that is dropped there regularly, I knew I wasn't supposed to be there because it was a private area or closed to unauthorized people or something. There were other people there, too. I saw a man in his fifties with his son dismantling a piece of a car frame with a hammer.

I tried to small talk with them but they were very cautious of foreigners and they politely ignored me.

About 20 yards away there was an old hydraulic tower, I noticed a twinkle of sunlight in my eye and I looked up at the tower, I saw a silhouette of a man with a large rifle. I wasn't sure what was going on but I heard the hum of what sounded like a generator and then a loud crack! One of the people standing near me was on fire. But it was a fire unlike anything I'd seen before. It was incredible furious and white sparks flew out of it- the person was dead in seconds.

By that time people had already started running, old folks, young children as well as a few men my own age. I remember I hurdled a slow older woman to get to cover. I heard a few more cracks as I ran (not daring to look back).

I took cover in a dilapidated barn not too far away which I assumed was safe (there were a few other people from the junk yard in it, too). None of us were terribly worried about the armed man, he had run us all off and somehow we knew that would be enough for him.

I sat on a wet piece of log and two men were arguing what type of gun the armed man had been firing at us.

Panos was the officer who had been shooting at us; his rifle fires a thermal round shrouded in an electromagnetic field. The fire feeds on itself and " sticks" to the target so it cannot expunge itself (like making a person a baby Sun). It's a weapon designed primarily for targeting aircraft and tanks but I guess he was bored... :-)

Also, there was a cloud of vapor coming out of the weapon after he fired it a few times, he was real indignant about that noxious gas blowing in his face...

I saw all this in a waking dream and I then figure out what the hell happened.

I realize all this sounds crazy, but there it is! :-)
